  • If you have an approved Education Abroad Internship Credit Approval form on file with Education Abroad, you will see the internship credit on your degree audit once you’ve successfully completed the program and once your courses are posted by Education Abroad

It is possible to obtain academic credit for global internships outside of the pre-approved programs. If you have identified an opportunity, you must first determine the potential for receiving academic credit. Approval to receive academic credit must be obtained before the internship starts. Contact Christine Mahoney to determine eligibility. Upon approval, you must complete the Global Experience registration process and purchase health insurance through the Education Abroad office.

The annual deadline to find your own summer global internship for credit and report it is May 15.
