The Center for Inclusion and Social Change is committed to providing quality development opportunities for students, as well as staff/faculty who seek to enhance their support for students of diverse backgrounds. Our goal is to contribute to a more inclusive campus climate in which all students thrive and feel a sense of belonging. Throughout the semester, we offer monthly trainings to deepen people’s understanding of best practices for creating inclusive learning and work environments at the university in the areas of gender and sexual diversity, race and colorism, and intersectionality. These workshops are led by Center staff who often co-facilitate with members of the Center’s student peer education team. All are welcome and requests can also be made for departmental or group-specific workshops using the online request form. We also offer the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) by request.
