Biography: Dr. Kaiser, clinical psychologist and neuroscientist, is a national leader in the field of youth mood disorders with an established record leading transdisciplinary teams to understand and foster mental health in adolescence and across the lifespan.  Dr. Kaiser received her B.A. from Dartmouth College, and a combined Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder. Dr. Kaiser completed her Clinical Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine followed by postdoctoral training in translational neuroscience at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital.

Center Connection: Dr. Kaiser is the Founding Director of the Center for Healthy Mind and Mood, and Principal Investigator of the Research on Affective Disorders and Development (RADD) Laboratory a member laboratory of the Center.

As Center Director, Dr. Kaiser leads a portfolio of research and outreach programs aimed at accelerating discovery and supporting the next generation of scientists and youth advocates. Our Center community brings together faculty, laboratories, and community and care partners, united in the mission to promote healthy mood and emotional resilience in adolescence and across the lifespan. 
 
As Principle Investigator of the RADD Lab, Dr. Kaiser and her team are engaged in discovery of neurodevelopmental markers of risk and resilience with the goal of supporting early, effective, and personalized intervention. Clinically, Dr. Kaiser and her team are pioneering new strategies for translating basic science into improved treatment and emotional wellness in the real world.
