Alicia Sepulveda
- Deputy Director, Center for Healthy Mind and Mood

Roles: In addition to her support of the Center, Dr. Sepulveda supports the research operations with the RADD Lab, and is an adjunct instructor for the Executing Social Innovations course in the Sociology department.
Biography: Dr. Sepulveda completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership at University of Northern Colorado, her master's degree in Social Work at Florida State University, and her bachelor’s degree in Family & Child Sciences and Human Development at Florida State University.
Dr. Sepulveda has served as an academic, success, and life coach for 1000+ diverse college students across the United States and published several articles related to coaching in higher education. She has developed expertise in supporting the college student experience related to goal setting, well-being, motivation, mindset, resilience, transition to college, transition to work, executive functioning, and making the most of college.
She also is the Producer and Host of the College Life Podcast, was the Founder of the Coaching in Higher Education Consortium, has experience in research related to innovation & entrepreneurship university ecosystems, and has worked in startup operations.
Her research interests include participatory and co-design research, social media and mental health, and resilience.
Center Connection: Dr. Sepulveda supports the operations of the Center for Healthy Mind and Mood. She supports the day to day operations, the development of partnerships, marketing, strategic planning, office culture, and program development, with an emphasis on making the research we do everyday translate into real world application to help young people feel better.
She also leads the Voice program, aiming to amplify youth and young adult voice to increase resilience and better understand, prevent, and treat depression and mental health using lived experiences.
