Employees with high-deductible health plan: Enroll in an HSA Oct. 12–23

University of Colorado employees enrolled in CU Health Plan – High Deductible can open a Health Savings Account (HSA) to help pay for qualified medical expenses. HSA can help you save money now through retirement. 

CU’s annual HSA Open Enrollment runs from 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. This is a great time to examine your savings and make any adjustments ahead of the 2027 tax year. You can update your HSA through the employee portal, and your enrollment will be effective Jan. 1, 2027.
