August Milliken

August Milliken (He/ Him) is an undergraduate CLASIC BAM (Computational Linguistics, Analytics, Search, and Informatics Bachelors to Accelerated Master’s Degree) student majoring in Linguistics with a focus on Computational Linguistics at CU Boulder and an Educational Technology Research Assistant with ASSETT. August hopes to work in either Natural Language Processing or Computational Linguistics research or related fields. He has some limited experience with Computational Linguistics research and with designing and constructing language models but looks to develop his research skills and gain a better understanding of the effects of his field through the ETRA work. Outside of work, August enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, and playing all kinds of games.
