Susan Sigman

Susan joined the advancement team at the University of Colorado Boulder in June 2025 and serves as Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. In this role, she leads philanthropic engagement efforts that connect alumni and donors to the causes and programs that inspire them.

Susan brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit fundraising to the team, having held key development and communications roles at the University of Northern Colorado, Semester at Sea, and the Florida State University Foundation. She believes deeply in the transformative power of education and the profound impact donors can have on a student's journey.

A Tennessee native, Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Kentucky. She lives in Longmont with her partner, Todd (Comm’91), and their adventurous dog, Teddy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Buffs at Folsom Field.
