Michelle Gaffga joined the CU Boulder College of Arts and Sciences team in January 2018.
During her 17-year career in the advertising industry, Michelle always had a passion for philanthropy and made it her goal to one day be serving in a role in which her work would make a difference in the world. Successfully, she transitioned her career to the non-profit sector where she got her start at the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan. A Detroit native, she attended Ferris State University and lived in Michigan until her family migrated west. Once in Denver she managed the development and communications teams for the national non-profit Wish of a Lifetime before returning to higher education fundraising for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Michelle is thrilled to be back in an esteemed public liberal arts college and, as a current CU Boulder College of Arts and Sciences parent, she’s proud to represent the Buffs!
Michelle lives in Golden, CO with her husband and son – when he’s home on break! When she’s not working you can find her on her yoga mat or enjoying all the things that make living in Colorado so incredible.
