Matthew Sauser

Matthew Sauser is a Senior Advancement Assistant on the Data Insights team. In his role, he supports advancement through data management, reporting, and analytical work that helps inform strategy and decision-making across the University.

Matthew joined the University of Colorado Advancement team in April 2024, beginning at the Leeds School of Business where he supported student and recent alumni engagement initiatives. Before joining CU, he also worked at Upper Iowa University and Northwood University as an assistant football coach. Originally from Michigan, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northwood University.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys cooking, playing and watching sports, and taking advantage of Colorado’s outdoor activities, including golfing, snowboarding, biking, paddle boarding and hiking.
