Margaret Arreola

Margaret Arreola is the Assistant Dean for Advancement at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she leads the Advancement team in building impactful partnerships that support the Institute’s mission to promote the wellness of young people and the systems that support them. With nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, Margaret has expertise in donor relations, strategic fundraising, and cross-functional collaboration. 

Before joining the Crown Institute, she led campus-wide donor relations at CU Boulder, developed a principal giving program, and worked closely with leadership to enhance the donor experience. Margaret has also held key roles in fundraising and engagement with the Leeds School of Business, the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego and is a registered yoga teacher. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Juan, and their two energetic boys.
