Lauren MacKay

Lauren joined the CEAS Advancement team as the Director of Alumni & Donor Engagement in April 2025. In this role, she leads the strategic vision for alumni engagement and donor relations within the college.

Originally from Evergreen, Colorado, Lauren has called Montana home for the past 17 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from Montana State University in Bozeman and an MBA at the University of Montana in Missoula. She also holds a certification in Entertainment and Event Management.

Before joining CU Boulder, Lauren spent her career at the Montana State University Alumni Foundation, where she held various roles, most recently overseeing MSU’s alumni chapters and regional events. Passionate about helping alumni stay connected to their university and to one another, Lauren is excited to bring her experience to CU Boulder and continue fostering strong, engaged communities.
