Karon Chambliss-Bowles

As Director of Foundation Relations, Karon joins CU Boulder with over 10 years of development experience and a lifelong passion for mission driven work.
Prior to joining CU Boulder, Karon worked in advancement at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, where she worked collaboratively across campus to advance the mission of the College and focused her efforts on developing strategic alliances in alignment with the College’s strategic goals.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Karon earned a BA from Spelman College and an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design.
New to Colorado, Karon is excited to explore her new home and build lasting connections throughout the CU Boulder Community. Karon is a lover of good humans, music, art, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Amil and son, Kahlil.
