With a background that spans coast to coast, courtesy of a military upbringing, she brings a unique perspective shaped by their multi-racial heritage and experiences as a first-generation college student navigating life in a mostly abled body. Backed by a BS in Psychology from the University of Arizona and an M.Ed. in Counseling-Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University afford Jasimine the abilities to lead impactful initiatives.

As a dedicated advocate for fostering environments of vulnerability, authenticity, and engagement, Jasimine cultivates spaces where colleagues and stakeholders can thrive and learn from each other. Their approach to work is marked by humor, humility, and fostering a collaborative environment. Jasimine remains grounded in the belief that teamwork and collective effort are powerful. Her mantra? "Teamwork makes the dream work."

With a keen understanding of individual differences, a thirst for knowledge, a natural ability to win others over (WOO), a drive for achievement, and a knack for strategic thinking, Jasimine leverages their Clifton Strengths to form a dynamic approach to problem-solving and strategic planning for creating impactful change in the university landscape.

Over the past decade, she has delved into various facets of student affairs, from career development to athletics to residence life, learning communities to crisis response. Their experience also extends into conference logistics, employee development, and shared governance leadership.

With a commitment to amplifying all voices, Jasimine is always willing to jump in and lend a helping hand wherever needed, emphasizing the importance of learning along the way.
