When Ben Finneseth joined the University of Colorado Boulder’s football team as a walk-on in 2021, he fulfilled a dream years in the making. But after a difficult first season, he questioned whether he belonged. Five years later, Finneseth has earned a Buff Club scholarship, graduated with a degree in engineering and is pursuing a graduate certificate in leadership and management. Along the way, support from his coaches, family and the Buffs community helped him build the confidence to pursue opportunities he once thought were out of reach.
