Chris Herrera O'Dell
Senior Development Assistant, College of Arts and Sciences

Chris is a Development Assistant in the College of Arts & Sciences, Graduate School, & Libraries. She is a CU Boulder A&S alumna having earned a B.A. in Psychology and is excited to be back on campus supporting the College. Chris has over ten years’ experience in the finance industry, most recently focused on local agricultural and rural lending with American AgCredit.

In her free time, Chris enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading, documenting life through photos, and attending her son’s football games. She also can be found out and about on local trails with the family dog, Maximus Rex.

Responsibilities as Development Assistant for Arts and Humanities, Graduate School, and Libraries include:

  • Providing support for development officers, specifically those representing the Arts and Humanities with scheduling needs, content creation, donor communications, special events, and stewardship
  • Handling administrative tasks such as processing expense reports, distributing monthly gift reports, answering fund related questions, and completing other data-driven requests
  • Donation processing and assists with gift fund creation and agreements
  • Serving as a liaison for campus partners within the Arts and Humanities, Graduate School, and Libraries, as well as donors
