Ashley Muggli

Ashley Muggli is the Collections Manager and Research Coordinator for the Heritage Center, where she helps preserve the museum’s collections and coordinates student and staff research and exhibition projects. Her professional work in collections management has spanned over 10 years and she has worked with several small and large institutions across Colorado including Mesa Verde National Park, Denver Art Museum, and all the University of Colorado Boulder museums on campus.

Ashley holds a B.A. in Anthropology and an M.S. in Museum & Field Studies with a concentration in Collections Management from the University of Colorado Boulder.

When she’s not hard at work monitoring bugs, temperature, humidity, or rehousing and preserving historical works related to campus history, she enjoys spending time with her cat Smash, continuing to learn new crafts, birding, and paddleboarding.
