Allison Andrews Kerr joined the advancement team at the University of Colorado Boulder in January 2025 and serves as Associate Director of Development for the College of Engineering and Applied Science. In this role, she leads philanthropic engagement efforts that connect alumni and donors with opportunities to make a meaningful impact at CU through their giving. Allison cultivates relationships with alumni and donors across the Front Range and the Southeastern U.S., partnering with them to support the college’s mission and vision in meaningful ways.
Before joining CU Boulder, Allison raised philanthropic support for organizations advancing medical research and environmental policy, including Western Resource Advocates, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, and Johns Hopkins Medicine. A first-generation college student, she believes deeply in the power of higher education to transform lives and is passionate about advancing the vision of transformative organizations through philanthropy. Allison values curiosity, authenticity, and a human-centered approach in her work and takes pride in building mission-driven relationships that create lasting impact.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys exploring everything Colorado has to offer with her husband and their two dogs - from hiking and skiing to catching live music at Red Rocks.
