Steven C. Demby is co-chair of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Corporate & Business Department and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He provides counsel to owners, executives, investors, and financiers on a wide variety of matters across several industries. Over his 26 year career, he has developed a reputation for successfully consummating large, complex transactions involving multiple parties in multiple jurisdictions and countries. Mr. Demby's work includes significant transactions in the energy, telecommunications and real estate industries, including those utilizing public-private partnerships. He is able to bring a unique approach to his work based on his experience running a fast growing telecommunications company in the early 1990s, prior to successfully negotiating its sale to MCI Telecommunications. Mr. Demby is also actively involved in political campaigns and philanthropic endeavors throughout the country.Mr. Demby received his J.D., with honors, in 1982 from the University of Texas School of Law, and his B.S., cum laude, in 1979 from Florida State University.
