Welcome!

The Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Queer Resource Center (GLBTQRC) is here to help gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and allied (GLBTQIA) students, staff, and faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder. We provide:

• information dissemination and referral;
• educational, cultural, and social programming;
• advocacy and voice for the GLBTQIA community at the University of Colorado Boulder.

We work closely with other campus departments, organizations and community groups to provide these programs and services. Come by our center to check out resources, get involved, make new friends, have a quiet place to study, and more!

  The Office of Discrimination and Harassment (ODH) addresses all protected class discrimination and harassment and sexual harassment complaints against University of Colorado Boulder and System Administration employees. Through either the informal resolution process or the formal investigative process, the ODH addresses conduct ranging from uncomfortable situations and micro-aggressions to policy violations.
  
  For example, the ODH could use the informal resolution process to address a situation in which a faculty member does not intervene when students in a class frequently use the phrase, “Oh that’s so gay” or a situation in which a professor singles out the only African American student in the class by asking him the question, “What do you think about slavery?” because of his race. Additionally, the ODH could address a situation where a supervisor uses the wrong name and/or pronoun to refer to a student employee who has transitioned from one gender to another, causing the student to feel disrespected, uncomfortable, or embarrassed.
