Richard Franklin

Richard Franklin is currently pursuing a master's degree in Strategic Communication Design within the ARPD program. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communication, which he earned from CU Boulder in the spring of 2020. 

During his undergraduate years, Richard played an active role in the CU student-founded Edtech company, EdBoard Technologies. His involvement led the company to the finals of CU Boulder's 12th New Venture Challenge, where they secured a fourth-place finish and made history as the first team to generate a successful product sale during the event. After completing his undergraduate studies, Richard continued to contribute to the field by working with the sticker and label manufacturer, StickerGiant, focusing on managing their social media presence which at the time had over 185 thousand fallowers across 7 different platforms. Richard has also worked as an account strategist for the digital marketing agency Overtime Media helping small businesses develop their brand voice and create professional WordPress websites.  

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Richard is deeply engaged in Boulder's improv community. He regularly performs in improv shows and also dedicates time to coaching individuals interested in mastering the fundamentals of improv.
