Racheal Aragon
- Associate Director, First-Generation Programs

Racheal Aragon is thrilled to serve as the associate director of the Center for Cultural Connections and Community and First-Generation Programs at the University of Colorado Boulder. With more than 18 years of experience in higher education, she remains committed to supporting and celebrating students from diverse backgrounds as they navigate their educational journeys. Racheal most recently served as the cultural center director for BIPOC student success at the University of Denver, where she led several programs designed to enhance belonging, engagement and success for underrepresented students. Prior to that, she taught English composition and literature as English faculty at the Community College of Aurora and helped lead initiatives that championed equitable teaching practices to create a more inclusive campus for all communities.
As a first-generation student born and raised in the Denver metropolitan area, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in English literature and culture from Oregon State University. Outside of work, Racheal enjoys spending time with her family and is a proud aunt to four nieces and nephews under age 13. She is currently embracing her “hobby era,” doing lots of reading, writing and throwing on the pottery wheel.
