Melodie Roschman is an English PhD Candidate, specializing in modern and contemporary literature. Her dissertation examines how a community of progressive American Christian women use memoir as a form of legitimization and resistance against dominant religious hegemonies. Her other research interests include popular culture, religious literature, and material history. She has an MA in English from Mcmaster University and a BA in English and Journalism from Andrews University. She enjoys cooking, DIY projects, and spending time with her partner and her cat, Minerva.
