Matt is an Environmental Engineering Master’s student focusing on Engineering in Developing Communities. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, he worked on a water supply and sanitation project in rural Nepal with Engineers Without Borders where he served as Design Lead. During this time he also worked in a research lab studying methods for stormwater treatment. After graduating from the University of Florida, Matt worked for a private consulting civil engineering firm working in land development and stormwater management. While at CU Boulder, Matt wants to focus his studies on wholistic approaches to projects in water, sanitation, and hygiene. In his free time, Matt likes to hike and go camping with his fiancée Allysen and dog Sadie.
