Hailey is earning a Professional Masters in Global Environmental Engineering. She previously obtained a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Engineering for Development from Mercer University in Georgia. Her undergraduate research focused on the construction of dew towers, which are structures designed to collect dew as a source of drinking water. Her experience with fog collection technology and courses in WASH in development prepared her for an internship with Foundation Dar Si Hmad in Morocco over the summer of 2023 working on project proposal development for the reuse of supplied fog water.
Hailey is interested in exploring water, sanitation, and hygiene in conjunction with humanitarian aid and how each of those topics are addressed on a global scale. She will be graduating in December 2023 and looks forward to joining the development sector as a Water Professional. Hailey loves dancing salsa and bachata, spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, and trying new things. She frequently picks up new hobbies; currently, she has taken up crocheting and has completed a number of projects.
