The work-play ethos is alive and well at CU-Boulder, and we’ve got the sporting events and facilities to prove it.
In one of the most active cities in the world, CU-Boulder faculty, staff and students turn to athletics to manage stress, stay fit, make friends, build a sense of community and cheer on our Pac-12 Conference Colorado Buffaloes.
The Student Recreation Center is a student-fee-funded service managed by the University of Colorado Student Government (CUSG). The Recreation Center offers over 300,000 square feet of recreation activity space, including 6 basketball courts, 5 fitness studios, ice arena, 3 tennis courts, 4 pools, 4 racquetball courts, indoor turf gym, climbing wall, and a wellness suite.
Our club sports is one of the largest in the country with national championships in cycling, hockey, snowboarding, soccer, swimming, freestyle skiing and ultimate frisbee.
Our intramural sports program offers more than 40 different sports activites for men and women, co-recreational, and equal opportunity programs.
The Alumni Association hosts a number of watch parties for cheering on the CU Buffs. You can find Alumni events listed on their website at www.colorado.edu/alumni
