Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) are experienced entrepreneurs and executives who volunteer their time to mentor campus innovators.

Inventions with both high commercial potential and also for which an IP strategy has been initiated are excellent candidates for working with one of our EIRs. The types of activities with which an EIR can provide guidance include defining the invention’s value proposition, refining the product-market fit, and identifying key steps toward commercialization. Please contact your Venture Partners case manager to learn more about working with an EIR.
