The Connection welcomes everyone for limited bowling, billiards, ping pong and board games!

To help protect the health and safety of our community while providing a safe and inclusive facility, The Connection will strictly adhere to all state and local recommendations, guidelines and capacity limits to accommodate physical distancing.

What is Open

Inside The Connection, the following areas are open:


Visitor Guidelines

  • Masks are required in this indoor public space regardless of vaccination status
  • Physical distancing is encouraged
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick
  • Wash your hands frequently
    • Restrooms are located just outside The Connection’s entrance
    • Hand sanitizer and wipes are available at the entrance
  • No sharing of equipment between persons
  • Do not move tables and chairs
  • Reservations for single bowling lanes, billiards tables and ping pong tables are highly encouraged and will be prioritized.
    • Walk-ins will be accepted when available.
    • Call 303-735-BOWL (2695) to make a reservation or make a reservation online (CU students, staff and faculty only).
  • Capacity is closely monitored to ensure an appropriate number of guests at any one time
    • Some furniture has been removed to create more space to allow for adherence to social distancing practices
    • Due to limited capacity, we are unable to take event/party reservations at this time
  • Contact tracing information is required for all guests

Bowling Guidelines

  • Rates  Effective May 16, 2021, until further notice
    • CU Students: $3.50 per game, per person
      • Shoes: $2.75 per pair
    • CU Faculty and Staff: $4.50 per game, per person
      • Shoes: $3.00 per pair
    • Community Members: $5.00 per game, per person
      • Shoes: $3.00 per pair
  • Reservations for single bowling lanes are highly encouraged. Walk-ins will be accepted when available. Call 303-735-BOWL (2695) to make a reservation or make a reservation online (CU students, staff and faculty only).
  • Limit four bowlers per lane.
  • Equipment (including balls, bowling shoes and ADA ramps) can be picked up at the check-in desk. Equipment is sanitized between users. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own equipment.

Billiards and Ping Pong Guidelines

  • Rates  Effective May 16, 2021, until further notice
    • CU Students: $2.50 per table, per hour
    • CU Faculty and Staff: $3.00 per table, per hour
    • Community Members: $3.50 per table, per hour
    • Reservations for billiards and ping pong tables are highly encouraged. Walk-ins will be accepted when available. Call 303-735-BOWL (2695) to make a reservation or make a reservation online (CU students, staff and faculty only).
  • Equipment (including balls, racks, cues and paddles) can be picked up at the check-in desk. Cue sticks are chalked at the check-in desk. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own equipment.

Additional Safety Measures

The health and safety of our community is very important to us. Here are some of the measures we have in place, designed to help minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission for visitors and staff.

  • All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between use, including balls, cues, paddles, racks, ball return, tables, scoring system and pedestal
  • Shoes are sanitized after each use with medical-grade disinfectant spray
  • Guest touch points and surfaces are regularly cleaned and sanitized, including tables, counters, seating and equipment return stations
    • If you would like additional cleaning, please request wipes and/or spray at the front desk
  • Plexiglass barrier at check-in desk
  • Separated billiards, ping pong and lounge tables and seating to allow for social distancing
