After passing rigorous evaluations that demonstrate they “are leaders in the food service community who go above and beyond to promote food safety,” the UMC Production Kitchen and the UMC Alferd Packer Grill have been awarded Certificates of Excellence by the Boulder County Partner for Food Safety program.

Certificates for Food Safety Excellence, awarded by Boulder County, hang on the walls of the UMC's Alferd Packer Grill and Baby Doe's.

This certification initiative, led by Assistant Director/Executive Chef Dean Couchey and Assistant Director for Retail Food Service Hector Olivas, and achieved through the diligent work of UMC Food Service staff, recognizes that the UMC Production Kitchen and Alferd Packer Restaurant & Grill voluntarily exceed Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations for food safety.
