The Community Safety Task Force has continued its work to forge new paths and bring forth recommendations to increase accountability, transparency, engagement and trust. It's now asking for idea submissions before the new year.
The Diversity and Inclusion Summit on Nov. 10 will include a discussion of "So you want to talk about race" by Ijeoma Oluo. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the text and its powerful themes. Prior familiarity with the book, while encouraged, is not required.
Engage virtually on topics of inclusion in the classroom; anti-Asian racism and COVID-19; and putting purpose into your passion through "heartwork." There will also be a campus One Read discussion at CU Boulder's 31st Diversity and Inclusion Summit.
The university will allocate funds to support the mental health and wellness needs of undergraduate and graduate students as they continue to navigate the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 and other issues.
