The nomination process for the 2018 Regent Awards is now open. These awards include honorary degrees, university medals and distinguished service awards. The individuals who receive these awards are truly remarkable. The awardees are honored at the commencement ceremony in May each year.
I would like to encourage you to consider nominating for one of these three awards. The final decisions are made by a committee of four members of the Board of Regents. Each campus has a small committee that reviews nominations sent to their campus to be sure qualifications are met and then forwards them on to the Board of Regents office.
