Deborah Méndez Wilson is a fifth-generation Coloradan and a #ForeverBuff (B.S. journalism/B.A. political science). A former journalist, she reported for the Associated Press, Reuters, USA Today and other outlets in the U.S. and South America. Since 2003, she has served as a bilingual spokesperson, communications director and public affairs specialist in higher education, health care, state government and public transportation.
