Students were the focus of the annual State of the Campus address that, this year, included discussion of a recent racist incident on campus in addition to support services and safety.

As CU’s strategic planning process officially kicked off, Mark Kennedy visited the Boulder campus to address faculty and answer questions.

At its regular meeting, the CU Board of Regents heard preliminary enrollment numbers for the four campuses; received an update on the CU system strategic plan, awarded four CU Boulder faculty members the appointment of distinguished professor and more.

Chancellor Phil DiStefano announced today that he has promoted Kelly Fox to executive vice chancellor and chief operating officer for CU Boulder.

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) and its subsidiary units will conclude several leadership transitions before the academic year starts, including the Aug. 16 retirement of Joe Rosse, associate vice chancellor of Research Integrity and Compliance; the shift of Director of Animal Resources and Attending Veterinarian Jon Reuter to replace Rosse; and the hiring of Dr. Sara Hashway to fill Reuter’s role.

Senior Vice Chancellor and CFO Kelly Fox announced today that Frances Draper will be retiring from her role as vice chancellor for Strategic Relations and Communications, effective July 15.
