Interdisciplinary Professional Socialization Seminar

Writing Accountability Seminar

The goal of the seminars is to improve work efficiency and productivity while keeping each other accountable on dissertation writing goals.

Having trouble making time for your writing? Join other graduate students in this coffee-house style setting dedicated to staying focused and accountable on graduate writing goals. Free coffee is served.

Feel Better Fast

 Every Thursday | Last day Dec. 12
This CAPS workshop is designed specifically for graduate students. The workshop focuses on mindfulness techniques and coping strategies. You will learn how to calm yourself in stressful situations, take a step back from your thoughts and make decisions that feel right for you. All workshops are free, confidential and unlimited for students. Students do not need to be a CAPS client or complete CAPS paperwork to attend.

Funding opportunities

Open Space and Mountain Parks Department

Proposal deadline Jan. 10
The Open Space and Mountain Parks Department (OSMP) of the city of Boulder has funding available through its funded research program for scientific inquiry on OSMP lands. The maximum award amount is $10,000. Proposal deadline is Jan 10. For more information, contact Brian Anacker at anackerb@bouldercolorado.gov.

Educational Testing Service internships

Application deadline Feb. 1
Apply for the 2020 Summer Internship Program in Research for Graduate Students by Feb. 1. Interns in this eight-week program participate in research under the guidance of an ETS mentor. Projects may be conducted in one of nine research areas.


Deadlines for December grads

Dec. 9: Update diploma name, address (doctoral students)

Students whose doctoral degrees will be awarded in December must update diploma name and address through the student portal.

Jan. 21: Update diploma name, address (master’s students)

Students whose master’s degrees will be awarded in December must update diploma name and address through the student portal.
