March 4: Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre summer fellowship

The Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCRCCC), in partnership with CU Boulder, places graduate student researchers interested in science-policy issues in locations in eastern and southern Africa. This collaborative program targets improvements in environmental communication and adaptation decision-making, as well as disaster prevention and preparedness in the humanitarian sector. March 14: Graduate School Travel Grants

Applications for Graduate School Travel Grants for travel between April 1 through Aug. 31, 2019, will open March 13 and close March 14. Apply through Academic Works.

March 15: Urban Leaders Fellowship paid summer fellowships

March 15: Engaged Arts and Humanities Graduate Student Scholars

Graduate students are invited to apply by March 15 to join the Engaged Arts and Humanities Student Scholars cohort and receive up to $2,000 to support a community-engaged scholarship project and for professional development. To learn more about this program, attend a community engagement coffee hour from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, at the CU Museum of Natural History's Biolounge, and make sure to read about the current scholars.

Colorado Open Scholars Summit

A statewide event co-sponsored by nine Colorado universities, the summit will discuss challenges in tenure and promotion within the current scholarly landscape and the role of open access within the tenure and promotion process. Registration is now open.
