Deadlines for many of Education Abroad’s faculty-led summer Global Seminars have passed, but it’s not too late to start planning your summer or fall term abroad.
The following Global Seminars have extended deadlines until Friday, Feb. 1.

Senegal: Cultures of Activism
Immerse yourself over a Maymester in the sights and sounds of Dakar, one of Africa’s most exciting and vibrant capitals, while studying the multiple facets of Senegalese history and identity.
Italy: Dante in Florence
Explore Dante's most fantastic images in the Inferno, formed through references to the medieval art and architecture in Italy while earning A&S or CMCI core/gen ed credit.
England: London Business Seminar
Access numerous financial and business institutions in London and learn from real-world practitioners: Executives, economists, business journalists and more present lectures on their areas of expertise.
Spain: Operations Management
Study management while getting an inside look at Spanish and international companies and completing an operations management track major requirement.
Czech Republic: Prague Past & Present
Spend your Maymester deepening your understanding of how political and economic changes impact social and cultural norms as you explore the picturesque city of Prague and engage in field-based study.
Russia: Russia’s Past & Present
Fulfill your historical context A&S core requirement, or humanities and social sciences for A&S gen ed while living in St. Petersburg and exploring culturally significant sites in and around the city.
Peru: The Athlete as a National Symbol
Examine sport in a global context by studying and viewing major international sporting events on location—Lima, Peru, hosts the 2019 Pan American Games, a two-week sporting event similar to the Olympic Games.
Ireland: Writing in Ireland
Knock out your upper-division written communication core credit during your summer abroad. Explore Ireland’s past and present while turning a critical lens on your own culture.
