Upcoming phases of the Wardenburg Drive water line replacement project will require expanded street closures as well as the relocation of the bike racks on the south side of Farrand Field.

The bike racks on the south side of Farrand Field, across from Cheyenne Arapaho Hall, will be moved on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

  • All bikes must be removed from those racks by the end of the day on Monday, Nov. 26. Bikes remaining in the racks on Tuesday, Nov. 27, will have locks cut and be impounded.
  • Impounded bikes can be retrieved free of charge from East Campus by contacting the Environmental Center Bicycle Program at 303-735-BIKE or bicycle@colorado.edu.
  • Any bikes not claimed within 30 days of impoundment are donated, recycled or sold at the annual fall bike sale.

The portion of Wardenburg Drive between Wardenburg Health Center and the Imig Music Building will remain closed through summer 2020 to accommodate the water line project and Imig Music Building addition. The rest of Wardenburg Drive will be closed in three different phases between Monday, Nov. 19, and the end of January 2019, as illustrated in the map image.
