Person drops ballot in a drop box

Ballots were mailed to all active registered voters around Oct. 15. If you have not received your ballot yet, contact the Boulder County Elections office at 303-413-7740, if you registered in Boulder County, or contact your home Colorado county clerk and recorder office.

If you have your mail ballot

There is a 24-hour ballot dropbox located outside the south side of the UMC on the sidewalk close Euclid Avenue. This is not a drive-up location; parking is limited. There are 13 additional 24-hour boxes located off campus.

Any Colorado voter may return any Colorado mail ballot to a 24-hour dropbox or other voting location. Boulder County will return your ballot to your home county clerk.

Register to vote, vote in person, more

There is a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) in the UMC on the second floor. It is open:

  • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5
  • 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, Election Day

At the UMC Voter Service and Polling Center, you can:

  • Drop off your ballot.
  • Register and vote on the same day.
  • Cast a ballot in person.*
  • Request a replacement ballot.*
  • Vote using accessible equipment and facilities for people with disabilities.

Bring a current and valid ID, such as your driver's license or Buff OneCard, when registering or voting.

Not sure if or where you are registered? The VSPC can look up your registration, or visit govotecolorado.com. Students who have questions can stop by the VSPC or visit Boulder County’s student voting guidelines.

Remember: Voting ends at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. Ballots must be dropped in a ballot box no later than 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, or you must be in line to vote.

*The VSPC can only issue Boulder County ballots. They cannot issue other Colorado county ballots, but you can register and vote in Boulder County there. Call your local county clerk’s office if you are registered in another county, have not received your mail ballot and are registered correctly.
