Each spring, the CU Boulder Advising Council hosts Advisor Day, which is an annual campuswide professional development opportunity for all those who work primarily with or directly with students. Attend this mini, one-day, on-campus conference Feb. 20, where you can participate in breakout sessions and learn skills, tools and resources from various colleagues across campus to help you in your everyday responsibilities.

You will get the most out of Advisor Day by attending the entire day, so plan to reserve 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on your calendar.

On Advisor Day, you will have the ability to structure your experience as you see fit. The day will kick off with a come-and-go light breakfast with coffee and tea from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m., followed by morning and afternoon presentation sessions and a free lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advisor Day awards will be presented during lunch; submit a nomination by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1.

This year's topics include “Advising Students with Disabilities,” “Collaboratively Supporting International Students,” “Coaching Gen-Z for Higher Degrees,” “Transfer Landscape at CU Boulder: Dreams and Realities” and much more. 

In an effort to best organize the schedule of presentations and ensure lunch for all participants, please register to attend. RSVP by Wednesday, Feb. 6, to ensure meal availability.
