Walk and Bike Month is a celebration of Boulder's unique and nationally-recognized bicycling and pedestrian culture. It includes a diverse list of more than 60 free events for adults and children alike, including mountain bike rides, running activities, scavenger hunts, historical walking tours, hikes and much more.

Bike to Work Day is the month's main event, with approximately 50 breakfast stations around Boulder serving free food and drink to the estimated 7,000 participants riding or walking to work. Here at CU, the Bicycle Program will be hosting a "bike home" station with games, music and giveaways from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in front of the University Memorial Center.

Join more than 200 of your fellow colleagues and register today. Registrations enable officials to correctly report the impact of taking vehicles off the road for a single day. Plus, your participation might help your campus department reach the top of the participant rankings.

Now in its 41st year, Walk and Bike Month began as a single day of bicycling events in 1977 and has grown to a month of festivities. Today, Walk and Bike Month is among the largest events of its kind in the nation.
