Summer concerts continue at Folsom Field with the return of Dead & Company for two nights, June 9 and 10. The campus community should plan accordingly for parking, traffic and transit impacts, with closures beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 9.

Stadium Drive will experience periodic closures throughout the entire week, due to event load-in and construction. The area will be closed to non-event traffic on show days for setup and security reasons. Parking in the Folsom Garage will be limited to event permit holders after noon on Friday.

Concert-goers will begin to access Main Campus parking lots on Friday afternoon, via pre-sold permit parking. Traffic congestion and limited Main Campus parking is to be expected after 1 p.m., and campus permit holders should plan accordingly.

Permit holders who have parked in lots before 1 p.m. do not need to move their vehicles unless they have been previously notified by Parking Services. Permit holders who access campus after 1 p.m. on Friday, June 9—and all day on Saturday, June 10—will be directed to park in Lot 327 (the parking garage under the Center for Community).

The event security area will be similar to football gameday operations. Colorado Avenue will close to through traffic at 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. RTD bus reroutes/bus stops may be verified on the RTD Rider Alerts website page. The Discovery Express will also reroute beginning at 1 p.m. Friday.

Offices and services located within Folsom Stadium will have limited access due to security restrictions. Employees who need to access the stadium building after 1 p.m. on Friday, June 9, should email guestservices@colorado.edu to make security arrangements. Building proctors in nearby facilities have also been contacted to manage individual building security.

Gates open for the concert at 5 p.m. each day, and attendees are expected to arrive up to three hours before the event start. Campus community members are encouraged to plan their commute and work schedules accordingly.
