The University of Colorado Boulder triathlon team won big at nationals! For the eighth year in a row, CU Boulder took the overall team title at the USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships on Saturday, April 22, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
In addition to the team's eight consecutive wins, they have finished in the top three spots for the last 15 years.
In Tuscaloosa, the Buffs also took home the Women's Team Champion title after securing an impressive 2,202 points. Although they have reached the podium every year since 2003, their recent win is the first since 2012.
The men's team also saw success, finishing second to the U.S. Naval Academy by a narrow margin of 13 points. Colorado edged out the Navy by just nine points for the overall title.
