Facebook executive and CU-Boulder alumnus Kelly Graziadei will give the 2016 CU-Boulder spring commencement ceremony address on Saturday, May 7, at Folsom Field.

Graziadei, who graduated from CU-Boulder with a bachelor's degree in advertising in 1997, currently serves as the director of global marketing solutions at Facebook. Prior to her time at Facebook, she worked for a variety of companies, including Yahoo, 90octane, Alta Vista and SBC/AT&T.

The Senior Class Council selected Graziadei based on the insights she can share with the class, her leadership in her field and her demonstrated commitment to giving back, according to Dakota Smith, Senior Class Council president. “Kelly was a front runner to serve as the commencement speaker from early on,” Smith said. “She is a dynamic leader and we are excited for her to share her insight and wisdom as the class of 2016 ends their time at the University of Colorado Boulder.”

Graziadei grew up in Parker, Colo. At CU-Boulder she was a Boettcher Scholar and a member of the Presidents Leadership Class in addition to her advertising major.

The commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 8:30 a.m. at Folsom Field. More information about the ceremony can be found at http://Colorado.edu/commencement.
