Megan Odom

Megan is a choreographer, educator, and performing artist.  She holds an MFA in Dance with an emphasis in somatics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BA in Dance from Texas Woman’s University.  Megan is currently a Lecturer in Dance at CU Boulder and teaches modern dance technique at Longmont Dance Theatre Academy.

Megan has worked with artists Erika Randall, Helanius Wilkins, Gesel Mason, Sarah Gamblin, Mary Williford-Shade, Kim Olson, Tim O’Donnell, and Paige Cunningham Caldarella.  Megan’s choreography and collaborations have been presented nationally at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, The Dallas Museum of Modern Art, The Cincinnati Museum of Contemporary Art, as part of the Lonely Collective at FiveMyles (Brooklyn, NY), The Atlas Institute (Boulder, CO), Abilene Christian University, and at festivals including, Out of the Loop Fringe Festival (Addison, TX), Boulder International Fringe Festival, Denton Arts & Jazz Festival, and Dance for the Planet Festival (Dallas, TX).  Various artists and companies including Erika Randall, Core Project Chicago, MamLuft&Co. Dance (Cincinnati, OH), Muscle Memory Dance Theatre (Dallas, TX), and the Douglas County International Baccalaureate Program (Colorado) have commissioned her choreography.
