Kelley Ann is a performing artist and arts educator who enjoys combining set choreography with improvisation to create socially relevant dance works that continue to evolve with each performance. She has performed with Columbus Moving Company, John Gamble Dance Theater, Taproot Dance Ensemble, Larry Keigwin, and Bill Evans. Kelley Ann believes that a quality dance education fosters both creativity and critical thinking. She earned her license to teach dance k-12 in North Carolina and has taught in public schools, an independent school, and private studios. Kelley Ann received a BA in Government from the College of William and Mary, and a BFA in Dance with a Concentration in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a Certified Movement Analyst who trained at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, and Alexander Technique teacher who trained at Chesapeake Bay Alexander Studies. Kelley Ann is a First-Year Dance MFA student at the University of Colorado Boulder where is also a Graduate Part-Time Instructor and Teaching Assistant.
