Applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Summer Session Online Teaching Academy.

The Online Teaching Academy focuses on increasing the skills and knowledge of faculty and instructors wanting to teach online and hybrid remote/online. Participants chosen for the Academy's Summer 2022 program will work in cohort groups led by an online instructional designer. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive $1,500 added to their salary.

The training program will be held during February 2022 and will consist of weekly remote meetings over a four week period. The curriculum will be based on national standards for online teaching found in the Quality Matters Rubric — and will cover topics regarding online teaching (asynchronous) as well as remote/online hybrid teaching (synchronous and asynchronous).

Eligibility for the program includes faculty, instructors and lecturers. Graduate students may not apply.
