Sappho Teague

Sappho Teague is our 2023-2024 secretary! Sappho is a senior double majoring in neuroscience and psychology with a minor in MCDB. They are interested in how the brain responds to the stresses of life, be it illness or major changes to our environment. Inspired by their time as a part-time undergraduate assistant with CU's Natural Hazards Center, they plan on joining FEMA Corps after graduation and studying the long-term impacts of natural hazard trauma. Sappho is a nerd at heart with a love for books and Dungeons and Dragons. Outside of school and work, they can usually be found listening to music and drinking iced coffee.
