Dr. Jennifer B. McDuffie serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Health and Wellness Services at CU Boulder. Health and Wellness Services is comprised of services that support the mental, physical, and public health and wellness of campus. Additionally, Jennifer leads the Pandemic Response Office, which is designed to support the coordination of campus efforts related to the public health response to COVID-19.
Jennifer has more than 15 years of experience in higher education and has served in multiple leadership roles in various areas, including: crisis services, where she was the Assistant Dean of Students; enrollment management, where she led recruitment and retention initiatives; and academic policy development, where in her position she created an Honors Program in the Leeds School of Business. Prior to coming to CU Boulder, Jennifer held leadership positions at the University of Denver and Mississippi State University.
Jennifer earned a B.S. in Family Studies and Psychology from Mississippi University for Women and a M.S. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Mississippi State University. In 2020, she graduated with a Doctorate of Educational Leadership and Equity from the University of Colorado Denver. Her dissertation focused on the mental health of Generation Z college students.
