Jennifer McDuffie serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Colorado Boulder. In her role, Jennifer oversees offices related to health and wellness, which includes the Counseling & Psychiatric Services, Health Promotion, Office of Victim Assistance, Recreation Services, and Wardenburg Health Services.
Jennifer has more than 10 years of experience in higher education, where she served in multiple leadership roles at the University of Colorado Boulder, University of Denver, and Mississippi State University. Most recently, Jennifer served as the Assistant Dean of Students overseeing crisis management as well as launching the new health and wellness initiative. Highlights of her experience include: crisis management, program development, recruitment and yield initiatives, as well as student development strategies.
Jennifer earned a B.S. in Family Studies and Psychology from Mississippi University for Women and M.S. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Mississippi State University. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys traveling, exploring Colorado and the surrounding area, cheering for her favorite sports teams, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Bee.
