January 1 signifies a new beginning and if you’re part of the 40% of Americans who like to set resolutions, then these lunch ‘n’ learns are designed for you! Brought to you by Housing & Dining Services and based on Gallup’s five essential elements of well-being, these short sessions will help you be part of the 8% of people who actually keep those resolutions. In this short lunch ‘n’ learn, participants will be provided with an overview of each of the five interconnected elements of wellbeing. Participants will receive a copy of Gallup’s book Wellbeing: the Five Essential Elements and access to an online assessment tool that will provide a relative measure of your wellbeing in each area - Career Wellbeing, Social Wellbeing, Financial Wellbeing, Physical Wellbeing  and Community Wellbeing. LIMIT 15 attendees.

Financial Peace

In this short lunch ‘n’ learn, participants will learn strategies to get out of debt and stay out. Dave Ramey's practical regimen, based on his own personal experience with debt, offers hard-won advice and much needed hope to people who find themselves in serious debt and desperate for a way out. Participants will receive a copy of The Financial Peace Planner by Dave Ramsey. LIMIT 15 attendees.

Eat Move Sleep

In this short lunch ‘n’ learn, participants will learn strategies for making small, daily changes in how they eat, move, and sleep in order to create a healthier long-term lifestyle. Come learn about the 30-day challenge to better health. Participants will receive a copy of EAT, MOVE, SLEEP by Tom Rath.  LIMIT 15 attendees.

State of Slim

In this short lunch ‘n’ learn, participants will learn what weight-loss experts James O. Hill, PhD and Holly Wyatt, M.D. from the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center at the University of Colorado discovered about how to achieve weight-loss success and develop a “Mile-High Metabolism” that keeps weight off.  Participants will receive a copy of State of Slim.
