John has worked full-time with the CU Boulder Police Department since September 2008. He started his CU Boulder experience as a student employee in 2001. This is John's first year serving on staff council. John is a lifelong learner and has earned a B.A. in Theology (05') an M.A. in Religious Studies (07') and a Master of Engineering (CU 20'). John enjoys spending time with his family enjoying outdoor activities, sporting events, and they are passionate about all things CU. John has three kids who love to spend time on the beautiful CU Boulder campus whenever possible. John spends much of his spare time coaching his kids recreation football and basketball teams through their local recreation center.
